THERAPIST
The Therapist is responsible for providing clinical treatment to individuals with a dual diagnosis who are experiencing emotional dysfunction and requiring behavioral health treatment. The Therapist will work collaboratively with the family/care providers as well as community resources in developing appropriate treatment strategies and monitoring treatment outcomes for the individual within the residential setting. He/She collaborates with the Clinical Manager in developing psychological and behavioral approaches; and with Case Coordinator with regard to planning appropriate aftercare services.
Must have a minimum of two years experience as a mental health provider on a residential or related service unit for individuals who are dually diagnosed. Must hold a Master's degree in an allied mental health or human services field.
GROUP THERAPIST
The Group Therapist is responsible for providing leadership and structure for therapeutic groups within the milieu environment. Under the guidance of the Director of Social Work, the Group Therapist will be responsible for the implementation and documentation of groups for children and adolescents requiring behavioral health treatment. Must hold a Master's degree in an allied mental health or human services field. Must have prior experience as a mental health provider on a residential or related service unit. Must be open to a flexible work schedule. Recent graduates welcome to apply.

The primary responsibility of the psychiatric nurse is to provide quality nursing care to children and adolescents experiencing behavioral health illnesses requiring treatment. The psychiatric nurse functions as a member of an interdisciplinary team, which is responsible for the implementation of the mission, values, and goals of Southwood. The psychiatric nurse delivers medical and psychotherapeutic care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, and serves as a role model to patients, their families and team members. Must have current Pennsylvania RN Licensure
