Thinkfolio Business Analyst
My client is seeking a Business Analyst required to join team on implementation of cross-asset portfolio management package. Diverse role encompassing elicitation and analysis of user requirements; configuration of features and functionality; test planning and execution; support of implementation, with focus on delivery and quality.
The candidate will be joining the Technology team to contribute to successful delivery of new thinkFolio functionality; upgrades enhancements, and support its continued roll-out and adoption across lines of business.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in business requirements analysis
• Coordinate with team members Globally
• Elicit functional and non functional requirements
• Map target business processes, model requirements with use cases, data flow diagrams and other techniques
• Contribute to technical architecture decisions
• Prepare detailed functional and user acceptance test plans
• Perform functional testing
• Support the business throughout UAT; help with training, customization and rollout to all users
• Provide face-to-face communication and support to users; help gather and prioritise
Key Competencies
Essential:
• Full project lifecycle experience
• Strong business domain expertise in Equity and Fixed Income products and their derivatives
• Very good understanding of the buy-side investment management business processes: portfolio management, compliance and trading.
• 4 or more years’ experience of buy-side business analysis
• Experience in stakeholder management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Previous experience of UML and structured analysis toolsets
• Good technical background; knowledge of SQL
Desired:
• Experience working on a thinkFolio implementation
• Understanding of UCITS compliance regulation
• Exposure to agile methodologies
• Knowledge in FIX and Bus Technologies
