My Client, a leading Asset Manager in London are seeking a Front Office ThinkFolio Business Analyst, to join their team for continued project work.
Responsibilities:
• To work within the Front Office departments to deliver process and technology changes to the business.
• The role will involve analysis, requirements gathering, solution design, functional testing and UAT for EMIR regulatory reporting and continued ThinkFolio roll-out for multi-manager funds.
• Working closely with the investment floor in order to interpret and clearly define the objectives, requirements and the critical success factors of any changes. Based on this understanding, the business analyst will be responsible for designing and clearly documenting the solution, covering, where applicable, any required process changes, application functionality, usability and logical data structures.
Key Skills
• Act as a bridge between the business and project teams.
• Support and provide feedback to project managers, development, testing and business representatives.
• Work with the business IT project representatives to define succinct and measurable solution objectives.
• Document clear and testable business requirements and functional design specifications.
• To own and manage the integrity of the functional solution being delivered.
• Support business representatives through the different phases of the project life cycle.
• Assist the testing team in the definition of functional test conditions and expected results.
• Organise facilitate UAT planning and execution.
• Business support during the post implementation warranty period.
Required Skills:
• In-depth knowledge and experience of Thinkfolio, particularly with ETD and OTC derivatives.
• Experience of derivatives processing.
• A sound knowledge of the Investment Management processes - (equity/bonds/cash/derivatives)
• Understand the trade life-cycle
• Understand mandate compliance within the investment management process and trade
• life-cycle
• Structured analysis design.
Desirable Skills
• Latent Zero (Tesseract, Minerva, Sentinel), Bloomberg, Reuters, Factset, or other front office applications.
• A good working knowledge of Excel.
• A good working knowledge of SQL.
• Experience of working with fund managers and the dealing desk.
