TIBCO Applications Development Technical Specialist
The Information Platforms (IP) team is responsible for Engineering, Developing, and supporting new platforms being developed in an effort to build modern platforms to support the Global Consumer Business. As a member of the IP organization the individual will participate in initiatives that support optimization and transformation of global platforms. Key initiatives include designing and implementing technology necessary to support customer-centric strategies, assessing new technology and using it to refine the enterprise architecture and implementing recommendations that optimize technology delivery for a diverse portfolio of business offerings and operational challenges.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
* Review requirements and specifications
* Assist in requirements definition, alternate approaches and concepts
* Estimate and plan development activities
* Develop design and technical specifications
* Research relevant technologies and prototype complex design solutions
* Conduct design, code and implementation reviews with team members
* Develop application best practices, design patterns and standards
- Bachelor*s degree in Computer Science or related field required
- 7+ years of overall experience in developing complex applications using various technologies with increasing responsibilities over time.
- 3+ years of experience leading small teams of individuals in their day to day activities. Skills required:Extensive hands on implementation experience in full suite of TIBCO EAI Products i.e., TIBCO Active Matrix Business Works 5.x, TIBCO Designer 5.x, TIBCO Active Matrix Service Grid, TIBCO Business Studio, iProcess, Business Events, TIBCO Messaging (RV EMS), TIBCO Administrator, Policy Manager, TIBCO Adapters, and TIBCO Hawk.
- Should have strong understanding and experience with application architecture, infrastructure, systems planning, networking, operating systems, web technology, relational databases, real application clustering, deployment model, performance tuning, etc.
- Deep understanding of ITLC and SDLC processes and concepts preferred
- Experience with J2EE based applications, administration, and environment planning
- Need to have strong understanding of how to provide the architectural qualities of maintainability, scalability, flexibility, performance, and agility.
- Financial services experience for consumer banking-retail, lending, credit cards, brokerage, or small to medium business banking preferred.
