Equity Derivative Traders from top tier are invited to investigate a career change to join a UK based top tier banking groups risk and controls function.
This role is focused on reducing business risk and maintaining relationships on the trading floor.
This is a position that will see the successful candidate take on leadership role and advising on the the key risks on the products that you have previously traded, as well as testing the controls that have already been set up. This provides a high level of interaction on the trading floor, so candidates will be expected to utilise their previously acquired knowledge to challenge and be challenged by senior figures within the business.
The new focus of the responsibility will be actively involved in the planning, fieldwork and reporting of the risk/ control projects, which will help you learn new skills whilst developing knowledge that is already there. You could also find yourself in a position where you are in a leadership role quite quickly, where you will be leading teams, advising them on risks and controls of a variety of different asset classes and facing off against the business.
