Our client is an international banking group with strong businesses in investment banking, global markets and wealth management. With a strong commitment to expand their presence in Asia, they are actively developing growth strategies, planning on new markets entrances, looking at organic and inorganic growth opportunities. As a result, an outstanding opportunity has arisen for a high calibre Reconciliation Control Analyst - Associate level to join their Equity Derivatives Middle Office team.
As a member of this growing team, your main responsibilities would be Reconciliations and Control for the Equity Derivatives business. You will assist and coordinate with periodic regulatory reporting looks into trade discrepancies and ad hoc MIS Reporting. Furthermore, you will need to resolve queries from the desk, operations, credit and risk management. You will also be involved in key projects and system implementations in the operations department.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- A top tier University degree holder, ideally in areas such as Mathematics, Engineering, Business etc.
- At least 2 years of Middle Office or Trade Support experience within Equity Derivatives market
- Ability to build rapport with a driven and demanding front office
- Able to work under pressure and ability to multitask
- Strong communication skills with fluency in English and Cantonese
