The role will be based in mainland China as part of the bank's Asia commodities marketing team. Candidates with relevant working expereince who are currently located in Hong Kong/Singapore/etc are welcome to apply if you: are open to relocation; speak both Mandarin and English.

VP to Director level depends on candidate's years of experience. Associate level candidates with excellent track-record will be considered as well.

Job Duties:
To identify clients in metal, mining, energy, and agriculture sectors in China.
To market the bank's commodities linked products to existing and potential clients.
To act primarily as a specialist commodities sales with cross-sell opportunities
To coordinate with internal and external partners to provide solutions
To identify and control risks

Core skills required:
Good understanding of different commodities business models onshore and offshore
Able to analyze different clients’ needs and provide tailor-made solutions
Client relationship building
Communication skills in both Mandarin and English
At least 4 years relevant working experience
Industry experience and strong network will be a plus

Major products coverage:
Commodities flow products; commodities derivatives; commodities linked financing
Cross-sell of FX and rates products

Clients coverage:
Large Chinese and multi-national corporations
Financial Institutions
Trading companies

Ideal candidates will come from this area with a track-record of producing PnL, with good technical and business knowledge in commodities and other global markets products. The package is negotiable based on experience and productivity.
