Tier One Support Representative

Our client manufactures testing machines used to test the mechanical properties and performance of various materials, components and structures in a wide array of environments. The largest product lines include universal and fatigue testing instruments. Other product lines include impact, rheology, thermo-mechanical, hardness, and torsion testing systems. Additionally, the IST division manufactures systems to test complete structures and components. As a Tier One Support professional, you will handle support and client relationships by handling support calls from users. It is important to respond with promptness and appropriate follow-up. You will work closely with the C2IT team, ensuring speedy and accurate resolution to data feeds and data integration requests. Additionally, you will fix software bugs, perform nightly job stream monitoring, and support a variety of business applications. The role will eventually involve moving the legacy system to a new system. There will be two times that this person will have to be on site: kick-off and data-mapping of the new system. This position is located in Norwood, Massachusetts.
