TIPS Trading
My client is looking for a VP/ Director level USD TIPS / Bonds Trader who has traded the entire curve including TIPS to develop their USD Rates franchise. The role is with a global investment bank in their NEW YORK office.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Market making in USD TIPS
- Cover €/ £ from time to time
- Fixed income proprietary trading
- Manage day to day risk and other traders
- Expand the desk and develop the Interest Rates franchise – visit clients, generate market commentary etc
Key skills required:
- 5 years independently market making in USD TIPS (be this as a pure TIPS trader or a bonds trader who has traded the entire curve including TIPS)
- Have a strong track record trading in this space, with very good PNL figures
- Ability to work under pressure and within an international environment
- Ideally eligibility to work in the USA
