About the Job
Reporting to the Commercial Manager Projects, this key commercial entry role will be responsible for the commercial aspects on tenders and quotations, customer proposals and contractual matters arising out of existing contracts that our clinet has within the lucrative Australian Energy and Resources sector
The successful applicant will:-
Interface with commercial and legal services on tender negotiations, sales and contract management.
Undertake contract review, qualification and negotiation, including deal structuring and terms and conditions.
Analyse sales processes and activities to sector / sales management.
Provide commercial (financial and legal) input into quotations and tenders including, calculation and terms and conditions.
Provide post contract variation strategies for individual projects
The role will suit a junior to mid-level commercial lawyer looking to transition their legal skills and commercial nous into a commercial role. Strong internal and external influencing skills are essential and previous experience pre or post law in a sales and/or analyst type role will be well regarded.
