Homeshield, a Quanex Building Products Company, is seeking a Tool and Die Maker and CNC Operator for our Rice Lake, WI facility. Homeshield is a manufacturer of quality screen, roll formed metal components, metal embedded co-extrusions, vinyl extrusions, and fabricated assemblies servicing a variety of industries.
Tool and Die Maker responsibilities include but are not limited to: producing and repairing tools, dies and special guiding and holding devices that enable machines to produce a variety of products and hold metal while it is bored, stamped or drilled. Constructing metal forms that are used to shape metal in stamping and forging operations.
CNC Operator responsibilities include but are not limited to: planning machining by studying blueprints/engineering plans, programming and maintaining specifications.
Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; documenting actions by completing quality logs; maintaining specifications and maintaining safe operations.
The successful candidate will have a 2 year degree in TD or 5 years experience. The Tool and Die Maker requires experience with progressive stamping dies. Strong machining, mechanical, milling, turning and surface grinding in a tool room/maintenance shop environment is required.
