Job Summary
Responsible for all activities required to fabricate, reproduce, or modify tooling, fixtures, gauges, existing parts or products as assigned by the supervisor.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
· Work from sketches, prints, models, or verbal instruction by utilizing sophisticated metal and plastic working equipment.

Expected Areas of Competence (i.e. KSAs)
· Attention to detail.
· Working knowledge of stainless steel, tivanium, Zimaloy, UHMPWE plastic, ceramics, cold and hot rolled steel, brass, tool steels, aluminum, rubber, and castings.
· A good working knowledge of CNC equipment as well as conventional metal cutting and plastic working equipment.
· Capable of laying out work in the most cost-effective manner from the information available.
· Capable of working in a team-based environment.
Education/ Experience Requirements
· A four year federally approved Tool Die Apprenticeship Program or eight years of employer documented experience as a Tool Die Maker, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Tool Die Apprenticeship Certification.
