£20,000 - £30,000 Tooling Engineer/Moulding Engineer. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Tooling Engineer to join a rapid prototyping company. This role will suit someone with technical knowledge of plastic injection mould tooling and plastic injection moulding who is looking to develop into a more customer facing/commercial role. Initially the successful candidate will be involved in the following:
- Preparing quotes, costings, looking at the RFQ.
- Providing technical assistance to the design and sales teams.
- Project managing production.
- Liaising with tooling sub contract manufacturers.
- Providing technical assistance on the shop floor.
The successful candidate will then be able to develop into a more customer focussed role. Ultimately they will be responsible for project managing a client’s product from enquiry to product delivery. This is an exciting role will suit an ambitious individual keen to get stuck in to a fast paced environment.
