TOOLING ENGINEER
Seeking an individual that is willing and able to travel UP TO 75% to other Martinrea Divisions located
in North America, Slovakia and China

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Responsible for fabricating metal fixtures and tools, dies, gages and other parts.
Will develop and plan layouts,set up, and operate metal working tools.
Will machine, weld and heat treat parts and install fabricated or purchased fixtures and processing equipment.
Develp new tool methods, builidng innovative tools and revamping tooling standardsWorking with equipment designers and manufacturing associates, and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.
Confer with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products accordeing ot specifications and quality standards.
Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and related cost to provide information for
management decisions.
Confer with manaement, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilites, prodiction schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufactuirng requirements and potential to develop a cost effective and working production process
Oversee process design projects and make sure the projects are completed on time
