This top Global bank is seeking an Operational Risk Manager who will Support the effective implementation of the Group?s integrated operational risk framework and policies through the Risk and Control Assessment process, Top Risk Assessments and Incident Management process.
The Role (Key Elements among other tasks)
- Develop and maintain an effective operational risk framework
- Provide a common platform to manage operational risk and internal control
- Have the organization acknowledges the requirement for effective management of operational risk and internal control through culture management and change
- Assess and report on the adequacy of operational risk and internal control management
Stakeholders
- Regional Operational Risk and Global Business Operational Risk leadership teams, and Global Market Functions
Ideal Candidate
- Understanding of banking activities, products, processes and systems
- Thorough Operational Risk Understanding as well as knowledge of other areas in risk e.g. Market, Credit
- Strong Regulatory Knowledge
- Exposure to an operations and a control environment (audit or compliance)
- Able to conceptualise the operational impact of business change
- Able to negotiate and interact effectively at all levels of management
- The ability to cope with tight deadlines
