Top Investment Bank – Risk Control Officer to Manager a team – Berlin recruitment
The Portfolio group will be responsible for centrally managing risk reporting where you will be responsible for providing a dedicated reporting capacity across all aspects of risk reporting (e.g. Credit Risk, Market Risk, Asset Management etc.) and will be working closely with data management to interpret data / key information provided to create key updates / summaries for management briefing.

Ideal Candidate
- 5+ years relevant experience working within banking or related risk management function
- Proven team lead experience
- Experience in creating and managing reporting processes preferred
- Industry/Banking knowledge required
- Accountancy / Finance background required
- Knowledge of Banking terminology and Treasury processes beneficial
- Good stakeholder management skills required
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization required
The Role
- Responsible for leading multiple teams within a risk discipline, ensuring consistent delivery service levels are maintained
- Managing delivery of risk reporting (at the legal entity level); on time and to a consistently high quality standard and support ad-hoc reporting as required
- Developing proposals for improving risk reporting process
- Providing KPI reporting on key operational activities
- Ad-hoc data analysis work (MS Excel and multiple internal systems)
- Ensuring appropriate and consistent governance is in place across all risk management/reporting processes, including dedicated QA of all reporting prior to wide circulation.
