Top Ranked Analyst for leading Debt Fund recruitment
Arkesden Partners are currently working with the London office of an International Debt Investor to locate Analysts for the London team to help Invest in the ever growing debt markets. We have been mandated to search for 2 international profiles for consideration from Investment Banking backgrounds across Europe.
The fund itself is well backed having strong roots in the US and recently setting up here in London to take advantage of the European markets. They are active across a wide spectrum of industries, including business services, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, food/agriculture, and specialty finance. With the ability to invest in all parts of the capital structure, they are able to develop creative financing solutions and consummate transactions on an expedited basis.
The role is to invest across bonds, high yield, senior loans and also portfolio management. Therefore the experience of financial modelling within Investment Banking might be useful.
The ideal candidate will not only posses a strong technical background and financial understanding of the market but also posses strong interpersonal skills to enable them to build long lasting relationships with both Investors and Portfolio companies.
Consistently a top performer with top grades at school and University.
15-30 months of Investment Banking experience from a Tier 1 establishments. They will look at profiles from MA, Leveraged Finance or restructuring backgrounds. A European language skill is not essentially but could be advantageous.
The interview process will be a typical 3 stage process whereby an initial 1 ½ hour meeting will take place with 2 of the Investors. This will be followed by a 5 hour case study and if this is passed you would then meet the following members of the Investment team.
