TOP TIER Investment Bank – FRONT OFFICE Equities Application/Production Support recruitment
Our client is seeking an excellent communicator and technically strong application/production analyst to support in-house built and off the shelf applications used daily by Equities traders. Reporting to the Managing Director of Production Support in Hong Kong
This person will require having strong UNIX Shell/Perl Scripting, SQL and have experience of supporting trading applications.
Responsibilities
Provide 1/2nd level application support for multiple users of the business, in particular Equities traders
Support the Equities business for application updates, upgrades, bug fixes, queries escalation, testing, enhancements and migration projects.
Liaise with different parts of the business and support production and application issues and liaising as Helpdesk, Programmers
Manage relationship with multiple vendors, market data providers, and key business requirements within internal departments
Requirements
3-5 years experience in application/production support environment
IT related degree or similar academic level
Excellent command of English
Strong UNIX Shall and Perl Scripting, experienced with databases, and market data providers, FIX protocol etc.
Good communication skills and logically minded
