Be part of a fast-paced, inside sales team that’s dedicated to showing teachers and students the world. EF is looking for highly self-motivated, competitive, and goal oriented sales people to drive the growth of a defined territory by developing global education programs that include international travel for middle and high school students.
The Role
As an EF Tour Consultant, you will sell international student tours to teachers and schools. Using the telephone as your primary means of communication, you will drive growth in a territory all your own, developing a strategic plan to achieve and exceed established weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals. As part of a spirited team, you will generate new sales opportunities and convert in-house leads from our marketing initiatives. You will ensure repeat sales by building strong relationships and meeting the needs of your customers throughout the entire tour-planning process. Teachers will look to you as their partner in this process, and it’s your job to make sure they feel supported throughout.
Training
You will be part of a sales traineeship that lasts 90 days. In the training position, you will be responsible for contacting new and existing leads to develop a strong pipeline of interest. During the 90 days you will work closely with a successful Tour Consultant to master the sales process and build your product knowledge before taking over your own territory.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Sales experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills (preferably with phone experience)
- Ability to meet long and short-term goals
- Strong organizational skills with a strict attention to detail
- Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally once or twice a year
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new computer sales software
- Ability to take ownership for the growth of a territory
- Passport
