As the Sales Centre Manager you will be primarily responsible for managing the delivery of customer service, sales and other targets across multiple customer service and sales teams in line with agreed business targets. The call centre in Townsville employs more than 100 staff and experience managing a centre of this size is essential.
In this autonomous "hands on" leadership role, you will also be responsible for monitoring and analysing the performance across multiple teams and identifying opportunities to improve customer satisfaction, sales and service in line with Telstra's goals. This position calls for someone that is highly adaptable, resilient and can effectively manage change and drive performance in the centre.
Key accountabilities:
- Support and coach team leaders to improve their teams performance
- Lead and develop a customer centric organisation
- Drive a positive culture within the centre through staff engagement, communication and performance
- Developing and nurturing talent and building the centre's capabilities
- Delivering on operational, service and sales objectives
- Challenging processes and striving for improvement
To be successful you will have extensive leadership experience within a call centre, along with knowledge of contact centre management principles. Ideally you will have current knowledge of emerging trends around customer focused service and a proven ability to identify customer needs.
