A diverse business offering tailored track/permanent way solutions in design, maintenance and construction seeks to employ a Project Engineer for on-going work in the Newcastle/Hunter Valley region.
A long term permanent role is on offer for a degree qualified civil engineer or time served engineer that can demonstrate solid rail experience. A background in track maintenance or the delivery of rail projects will ease your transition to this respected employer.
Your duties will include working alongside the project management team to cover a number of areas including project planning, liaising with clients, procurement, cost control and providing design advice.
As this is a client facing role, you will be able to use your advanced communication skills on a regular basis. You are highly aware of the importance of OHS and encourage safe work practices at all times. You can expect a collaborative working environment and exposure to interesting track projects in this position.
