ASML is seeking an experienced Trade and Customs professional for our Wilton, CT office.

The Manufacturing Logistics organization states the following mission: plan, develop and maintain a global network of qualified suppliers and factories, which is capable of delivering lithographic systems, related products and services that exceed customer expectations regarding quality, lead time, technology and cost.
One of the departments in the sector Manufacturing Logistics is Global Logistics Services. Global Logistics Services handles all material flow and optimizes the stock of (service) parts.
The International Trade and Customs group is part of Global Logistic Services Trade Infra and is based in Europe, Asia and the United States.
Position in the Organization
The Trade Customs Manager US reports to the Sr. Manager Trade Customs worldwide based in at ASML headquarters in Veldhoven, The Netherlands.
Job Mission
The job mission of the Trade Customs Manager is to execute and ensure customs compliance in a manner that minimizes exposures and customs duties and reduce customs process time in the supply chain while complying with US regulations.
Job description
- Responsible for Customs compliance in the US.
- Provide regular update to the Sr. Manager Trade Customs worldwide
- Lead a team of 2 customs specialists based in Tempe
- Ensure Customs compliance in the US
- Identify, evaluate and implement Trade Customs opportunities and process improvements
- Represent Trade Customs in cross-functional projects
- Represent ASML towards Customs authorities in the US
- Point of contact for external service providers
- Point of contact for the business with respect to customs related questions
- Responsible for the Foreign Trade Zone operations in the US
Educational level
- Master Degree in international International Trade
- US Customs Broker license is preferred
Experience
- More then 5 years of relevant working experience in a Law firm or Big 4 consultancy firm in the International Trade Customs
- Experience or ability to communicate with various departments in a multinational.
- Experienced with Excel, Access and PowerPoint applications
- Experience with SAP is preferred
