Their large IT team works besides traders to execute algorithmic trading strategies, and the firm is proud of their reputation of hiring the most talented individuals and rewarding stellar employee performance.

The coveted position of a Trade Desk Support Analyst has arisen in our client’s Singapore office. This is a pioneering role for the Singapore team, and will see the incumbent sitting directly beside traders. The main deliverables of the role are to monitor and support exchanges and applications of trading systems. This will be done by working closely with traders, back-office, exchanges and developers, analysing business needs, utilising both technical skills and domain understanding to solve complex system issues.

To be considered for this position, you need to have a track record of having supported traders directly, ideally in an high frequency or electronic trading environment. You must have hands-on knowledge of order entry systems, policies and the procedures of various exchanges. It is essential that you have solid Linux administration skills, and good ability with Python scripting. Critically, you have proven your ability to deliver fast and accurate results in a high stress work setting. Excellent communication and people skills are mandatory.
