Trade Distribution- Singapore recruitment

The Role:

Integrated within the Structured Trade Finance Department, the successful candidate will be responsible for : expanding, developing and building an efficient network of investors in the Asian region (banks, financial institutions, investors) and for distribution of Trade Finance assets originated by the STF team worldwide
Role involves coordinating with other STF desks worldwide to provide fast and price efficient distribution capabilities/ alerting global STF team of legal, structural, financial and economical changes in the region impacting the STF activity and participating within other STF team member in the development, review and structuring of innovating financing solutions and structures
You will be working closely with the Origination team/ middle office- documents team and credit team in Singapore but also other Structured trade finance teams globally

The Candidate

Essential to be organized, rigorous, dynamic and success driven
Experience either in banking sector (financial institutions group, correspondent banking) or within the STF or Trade Finance department of a commodity trading company is important
Ideal candidate will already have trade sales/ trade distribution experience in a trading house in Asia and be keen to move to a top three player of Agriculture/ Soft Commodities and Metals
My client would like to hire an AD/ VP level candidate at one of the top Commodity Trading houses in Singapore
No languages needed but SEA experience desirable as well as some exposure to Softs/ Agriculture but my client would also consider Energy trade finance candidates
My client is also interested to speak to good trade finance candidates at trading houses or FIG Relationship Managers within banks in Asia
