Department Description:Export Finance Product Advisory Americas is part of the Treasury Securities Services division at JP Morgan. The team is responsible for originating and structuring medium to long-term loans involving exports of capital goods and services to importers (sovereign, corporate and project borrowers) in developing countries.
Export contracts are typically in support of aviation, oil gas and power sectors.
Loans are structured with the guarantees of export credit agencies from OECD countries, including the US, Canada, France, UK, Germany and Japan.
Credit enhancements are also obtained from multilateral agencies.
Responsibilities:Prepare financial proposals in response to customer RFPsStructure loans with official agency (US Ex-Im Bank, EDC, multilaterals) supportPrepare proposals for JPMorgan Export Committee, Balance Sheet Committee and Credit Committee, as appropriateRun raroc and pricing modelsNegotiate terms and conditions and loan documentation with borrowers, while working with counselManage credit issues post closing, including waivers and amendmentsPrepare call reports and marketing presentations for Advisory teamWork with related product partners: fixed income, derivatives, project finance and trade finance

Qualifications
Minimum 3 to 5 years of recent experience in trade, export, commodities, project or other structured financingSome knowledge of export credit or trade finance marketsStrong credit and analytical skillsStrong interest in cross border/international financeDemonstrated capacity to work in a high performance teamMBA or Masters in related field, preferred
