Trade Finance – Middle Office
This is a fantastic opportunity to move into a strong platform with strong deal flow and. As a result of increased activity in their Trade and Commodity Finance business an additional position has become available in the middle office.
Candidates looking to apply for this position must have experience in:
• Ideal candidate will be working as a middle or back office trade finance position as a credit analyst or as a front office documents clerk in trade finance
• Strong analytical skills- document knowledge- term sheets experience necessary
• Everyday experience of drafting and-or vetting import and-or export Letters of Credit (L-C) formats for clients prior to issuance
• Checked import documents, and processed bills and effected payments on maturity and reviewed and issued import Letters of Credit (L-Cs)
• Working knowledge of UCP600, ISBP and ISDA
• Liaising and working with external clients, relationship Managers, middle office, treasury and FX departments and counterparty banks on a daily basis
• Successful candidate will need good communication skills to work closely with front office bankers- legal- risk and other teams
