Trade Finance Officer, Loans Administration
An Investment Bank is looking for a skilled Trade Finance Officer (Loans Administration). The primary aim of the position is the day to day management and administration of the Bank's Trade Finance facilities and instruments. This involves the management, administration and processing of daily transactions relating to Trade Finance (specifically Documentary Letters Of Credit / Guarantees / Collections).
Role
- Issuance / Amendment and Cancellation of Guarantees on behalf of clients / overseas correspondents
- Daily monitoring of the Trade Finance portfolio
- Issuance / Amendment / Negotiation of Letters Of Credits and Collections
- Preparation of Reporting as required by Finance / Audit
- Provide support to Loans Administration Officers with Trade Finance related administration and general operating enquires
Skills
- Minimum 3 years experience in a Trade Finance back office environment
- Be up to date with processes, procedures and ICC Uniform Rules for Guarantees and Letters Of Credit (most specifically URDG 758 and UCP 600)
- Ability to interact with management and staff of all levels
