Trade Finance Officer recruitment
A leading Corporate Bank currently have an opportunity as a Trade Finance Officer.
In this role you will be managing the administration and processing of daily transactions relating to Trade Finance specifically Documentary Letters of Credit, Guarantees and Collections. You will be ensuring workflow procedures and evolution of working practices as required to complete the day-to-day administration of the Trade Finance book.
The role requires:
- In-depth knowledge of Documentary Credits instruments and good understanding of ICCUniform Rules for Letter of Credit (UCP600) and trade finance practice.
- Issuance and amendment of Guarantees and Standby Letters of Credit.
- Processing of Documentary Collections.
- Acting as a major stakeholder with departments such Compliance, Legal, Credit and Front Office teams to ensure all Trade finance transactions are within approved credit limit and guidelines.
- Preparing reports and assisting the Business Support departments working on projects and assisting in UAT.
- Reviewing section procedures for continuing compliance with relevant requirements under the UK regulatory regime.
The successful candidate for this role MUST have:
- Current experience of working in Trade Finance.
- In-depth knowledge of all Trade Finance Products.
- Detailed knowledge of UCP, ISBP, URR, UCR, ISPCDCS.
- Solid knowledge of SWIFT series messages.
The successful candidate will also be inter-personally very strong and a self-starter who works by initiative.
