Our client is one of the world’s leading Shipping, Offshore and Energy banks and the largest financial institution in Norway. It is now seeking a high caliber individual to join its Trade Finance department.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day trade finance operations, which includes processing of trade finance transactions, examining trade documents in accordance with relevant rules and regulations, negotiation of trade documents and approving of transactions. You will handle a wide range of trade finance products and also perform SWIFT operations. There will also be opportunities to be involved in ad hoc projects as assigned from time to time.
The ideal candidate should be degree qualified with at least 5 years of experience in all Trade Finance products, with in-depth knowledge in the products’ technicalities. You are confident and independent and meticulous in examining trade documents. You possess a good understanding of relevant trade rules and SWIFT operations. Knowledge of Guarantees and IMEX trade system is an added advantage. You have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
