Trade Finance Product Controller recruitment

This is a global team that is active in originating/structuring emission reduction credits from projects in areas including China and Russia under the Kyoto protocols. Implantation and distributing these credits to compliance buyers across the globe. With dedicated, full-time trading and structuring teams in various locations working with EFP's project origination teams, EFP offers trading and client services with the benefit of knowledge and experience located at the project source.

Key responsibilities:

• Delivery, review, analysis and explanation of the daily PL for the EFP business.

• Regular review of Structured EFP net profit recognition criteria

• Second line support for MAST Product Control.

• Ensuring adherence to the Macquarie's Control Framework within team

• Providing timely and accurate financial information to clients faced

• Responsible for reconciliation of balance sheet and PL from risk systems through to general ledger

• Responsible for the preparation of high risk reconciliations for Structured EFP

• Analysis and assessment of products for business faced.

• Responding to ad-hoc requests from stakeholders (internal and external)

• Responsible for month end GL close and reconciliations to daily PL

• Month end reporting requirements to Corporate Centre

• Improvement in daily processes and participation in change management initiatives, particularly to improve standardization and consistency across product types

Skills Required:

• ACA/CPA/CIMA/ CA  qualified or equivalent

• Ideally some relevent

• Broad knowledge and understanding of financial markets and products

• Responsible for team engagement and satisfaction

• Responsible for own career development and talent management

• Ability to develop and manage relationships with  management, traders, settlements and finance staff
