Trade Finance- Singapore recruitment
Responsibilities
- Origination and executing of new transactions across the existing portfolio of clients (metals and energy) with documentary credit department
- Preparing credit applications and market analysis
- Reviewing internal system requirements for closing new transactions and knowing your customer procedures, country and company risk limits
- Handling day to day enquiries from customers
- Contributing to the achievement of the overall budgetary targets of the division
The successful commodities trade finance relationship manager will have the following skills abilities:
- Solid commodity trade finance experience
- Strong academics in commerce or business
- Track record in transacting commodity trade finance deals in South Asia
- Highly numerical
- Excellent communication skills
- Good documentary credit skills
- Understanding of hedging (swap, futures) is an advantage
- Ideally relevant experience within a bank or trading company
