Trade Finance – Trade Processing Officer recruitment
Our client is a global bank with a strong and expanding focus on the Asian markets. The bank is looking for a rapid expansion of its Asian business and is bringing in more talent to support this need.
- Responsible for checking customer credit limits and conditions
- This role is primarily responsible checking of customer credit limits and credit conditions, customer transaction documentation, LC workability and responsible for Reviewing of Guarantee/ SBLC Terms Condition. Additional duties include sorting, scanning, indexing of transactions, while ensuring that regulatory and bank requirements are met.
- Reporting into the Operations Manager/Team Leader. The focus is the customer, you will need to deliver positive customer experience within agreed timeframes and consistently meet targets in terms of quality and accuracy whilst ensuring you comply with all risk and compliance requirements. Stakeholder management skills prove crucial to success as will the ability to identify process and service improvements and present them to business.
Requirements
- Graduate with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Meticulous
- Sense of urgency
- 3 – 4 years of trade finance operations experience, particularly in the commodities market
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-motivated and able to work in a team
