My client, a well respected Investment Bank in The City, have a fantastic and quite unique opportunity in this current market. They are looking to add to their Equities IT Front Office Support Team and have an opening for a Junior Support Analyst. The candidate will provide 1st and 2nd line support to the trade floor working directly with the traders on a daily basis. The team look after a number of applications including Murex, Fidessa and GL trade. You will be tasked with managing major issue resolution, dealing with all upstream and downstream applications and their process. Knowledge of Unix and SQL is essential (SQL: Query/Update/Delete/sp/etc. Unix: Navigation/Find/vi/etc.). The role holder will have good business knowledge, ideally around PL and have good Equities knowledge. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone developing their career.
