Trade Floor Support – Associate recruitment
The Company
Our client is a Global US asset management firm who is looking for an experienced trade floor support associate to join their APAC IT support team
The Role
You will be reporting directly team Manager, where your main responsibility will be to take ownership of any IT related issues on behalf of the business providing an excellent level of IT support to onsite, remote and travelling users. You will be the main point of contact for all IT issues supporting APAC trading and back office teams. There maybe also some Asia holiday support necessary to cover international trading requirements. Maintain Disaster Recovery environment for each business unit. The successful candidate will have the sufficient knowledge of the in-house and third party applications, in order to quickly identify and organize a solution for any related problem. Ad-hoc projects will be part of the role also.
Your Profile
You will be a degree holder in Computer Science or a related field with at least 4 years of solid experience in an IT support/trading floor support position. You will have a strong understanding of LANWAN technologies and TCP/IP networking and have the ability to provide broadband and VPN troubleshooting. You will also be supporting BlackBerry, iPad, iPhone devices. An excellent understanding of Windows, mainframe and UNIX connectivity software such as Citrix, Rumba and Exceed is a must for this role. Excellent communication skills speaking clear fluent English is desired.
