CHARLES RIVER TRADING FLOOR SUPPORT
JOB DESCRIPTION:
* Trade Support specialist to interface with clients, provide analysis and understand issues to provide solutions / resolutions in a timely manner.
* Analyze and coordinate resolution of data-related production issues.
* Maintain communication with clients and IT management; act as liaison between business, vendors and other support teams.
* Escalate issues when required to ensure timely resolution and track to closure.
* Become primary point of contact for reporting and data issues and requests.
* Develop relationships with other IT groups to ensure all issues are addressed in an expatiated and effective manner and that users are kept updated at all times.
* User training, troubleshooting, development of support procedures, system testing and implementation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/HANDS-ON WORK EXPERIENCE:
1) Trading application support experience
2) Order Management System application knowledge: Charles River, Moxy, Paladyne, EZ Castle, NYFIX or Fidessa (AT LEAST ONE OF THESE IS A MUST preferably Charles River)
3) Equity business knowledge
4) Private Wealth / Private Client business knowledge and support
5) UNIX and SQL experience is strongly preferred
Essential:
• Superior skills in technical and business analysis
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, business writing skills
• SDLC / SDLC +, project execution and support processes (ITIL)
• Good knowledge/prior experience in financial services domain
Desirable:
• Private Banking domain knowledge will be an advantage
• SharePoint
• Proficiency in XML, XSLT
• Knowledge of trading concepts and process flows
• Knowledge of Sybase and SQL Server
