SUMMARY/GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Candidate will perform and assist with general trades tasks requiring accumulated practical skill and basic knowledge in such shipboard trades such as sheet metal work, welding, marine mechanical work, marine electrical or electronic work and preparation, will require skilled tasks such as preservation, cosmetic completion or aesthetic preparation for total task achievement as directed by journeyman trades or supervisor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES JOB FUNCTIONS:

Will be assigned as a fire watch/safety observer as needed
·
Carries, forklifts or hand trucks supplies to work stations
·
May be assigned the duties and responsibilities of other positions for which qualifications are met.
·
Lifts raw materials and final products for packing and shipment.
·
Performs general manual labor tasks including running errands, sweeping, loading, lifting and moving materials.
·
Works under direct supervision following clear and detailed instructions.
·
Gathers, sorts and stages raw materials for distribution.
·
Transports supplies and materials to the work sire and loads and unloose trucks.
·
Use basic hand tools to accurately assemble fabricated parts into final product.
·
Maintains cleanliness of the work areas assigned under journeymen trades.
·
Works in accordance with company quality and safety policies and procedures.
