About the Job
Our top tier client is looking for an inventive lawyer who can think outside the square when providing creative IP, trademark and brand protection strategies and solutions to their broad range of high profile local and international clients.
The successful applicant will be involved in the trade mark registration group and will be required to prepare Australian and foreign trade mark applications, prosecute through examination, run opposition proceedings and applications for non-use. In addition the role involves managing and providing strategic advice on the intellectual property portfolios of the firm's clients, particularly trade marks, and the exploitation of that intellectual property. Additionally, the ability to think laterally and creatively particularly in adding value to client's trade marks, will be highly valued.
Our client is looking for a team player with excellent demonstrated IP skills, strong academics, commercial acumen and superior written and oral communication skills. Our client is looking for a lawyer from second year to Senior Associate level.
