Trade Marketing Manager-Dublin Salary Negotiable
Our Client is currently looking to recruit a Trade Marketing Manager with experience in the FMCG Industry Essential
Role
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development of the appropriate strategies and action plans by channel and key account in conjunction with brand marketing and sales. The purpose is to ensure delivery of portfolio and sales activities consistent with customer needs and the organisations volume, share and profit objectives.
Duties/Responsibilities
Development of channel strategies and activities, based on shopper insights, in line with organisations strategy
Development of furniture and merchandising strategy
Responsibility for the effective implementation of brand and trade marketing programmes within targeted channels and regions, with ongoing performance monitoring
Monitoring and evaluation of channel strategies and activities (trade investments programs, incentive programs, brand communication programs, merchandising approach, display and furniture installation) to identify effectiveness, opportunities for improvement and recommendations on resource usage for the future.
Work with account management in the development of key trade customers to support the formulation of account strategies and plans to maximize volume and share performance
Responsibility for classification of the retail universe and for ensuring the results are used to define and implement the coverage plan
Ensure appropriate long and short term trade investment and brand presence programs are in place to support brand strategy at the retail level, managed in line with the sales force objectives
Responsible for all external and internal communication
Implement a Horeca channel strategy in line with the brand portfolio strategy
Delivery of clear consistent brand messages to the sales force though the cycle planning process.
Effective budget planning and control
Responsibility for development of the trade marketing team
Skills/Qualifications
Hold a Marketing or business related qualification
Have strategic marketing skills and experience
Ability to demonstrate successful outcomes in trade marketing
Understanding of pricing, cost management and return on investment principles
Experience of portfolio planning and Management
Strong influencing and partnering skills
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation.
Fluent English is a key language requirement
