Job Description

The position of a Trade Marketing Representative will require you to draw upon your negotiation, planning and analytical skills to ensure you are successful in the role. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a set customer base of Independent accounts and working with them to increase their overall account value
• You will be required to negotiate profit margins, implement pricing strategies and monitor your sales performance.
• Analyse sales data to identify trends, areas of opportunity and areas for improvement
• Recommend select product lines and negotiate price points in alignment with your customer's target demographic

This is an exciting and challenging sales role where you will be able to have complete autonomy over your territory.

The Successful Applicant

The successful applicant will ideally have a minimum of two years experience in a similar role within FMCG. Experience selling into Independent accounts will be highly desirable. You will need to have a positive work ethic combined with strong negotiation skills. Your communication and presentation skills will need to be of the highest caliber. Relevant tertiary qualifications while not essential will be highly regarded.
