Drive process control discipline through daily audits and secondary review of highest risk trade creation, trade submission, and trade administration processes to ensure those controls are executed accurately each day to prevent errors. ? Conduct ongoing risk assessments with recommendations on control measures to address each risk. ? Facilitate issue resolution by serving as initial point of escalation, coordinating resources and managing issues to resolution. Also responsible for providing communication throughout the issue resolution process and ensuring root cause review and improvements are implemented. ? Special focus on driving consistency/?best practices? across processes where there is a benefit in customer experience, simplification, scalability, and/or efficiency. Pursue opportunities to align teams and processes to improve customer experience and flexibility across work streams. ? Facilitate effective, comprehensive review of Client Experience cases, reporting root causes, patterns, and common occurrences to senior leaders with recommendations on how to address. ? Accountable for improving accuracy by building operational capabilities that increase transparency, reduce risk, drive productivity, and improve customer experience. ? Support the Trade Operations team by surging as necessary to complete team tasks. Trade Operations Senior Controller Basic Qualifications Required: ? Candidate should have 4+ years financial industry experience ? Knowledge of Mutual Fund Wrap, ETF Wrap, Separately Managed Accounts, UMA Portfolios, Mutual Fund Sub-Managers ? Experience in back-office operations relating to reconciliation, trading, security setup/maintenance, trade corrections ? Well-developed oral and written communication skills ? Outstanding organizational skills and detail orientation to ensure disciplined execution and control of complex work processes and change initiatives ? Track record of high accountability, ownership, energy and internal drive to achieve personal, team and organizational goals ? Must possess the analytical skills to resolve problems and drive continuous improvement through disciplined root cause analysis ? Outstanding customer focus ? Well-developed knowledge of procedures, processes, and systems that support work processes ? Minimum of S6 securities license Preferred Candidate Qualifications: ? Bachelors degree in business, accounting, or finance ? Experience with Security APL Portfolio Accounting System Computer Skills: Strong PC skills to include but not limited to: ? Excel ? Word ? Access ? Outlook ? Inherent ability to learn Genworth Financial Wealth Management specific software within specified time period after hire date.
