Trade Product Solutions Delivery Manager – Vice President recruitment
The Trade Product Solutions Delivery Manager - Vendor Marketing role is the manager of a support group within the Trade front office, leading the regional team responsible for corporate driven trade programs including supply chain finance program vendor enrollment and support and service for the supplier base of buyer-driven traditional trade programs.
Location: Hong Kong
Reports to: Regional Head of Corporate Trade Advisory Solutions Delivery
Team: A total of 7 team members in multiple locations spanning APAC (Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, China, India, etc.); direct, indirect, and matrix.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the team's day-to-day activities. Ensure that team meets its assigned goals.
- Manage the APAC-wide effort to enroll vendors in supplier financing programs, including marketing, negotiation, documentation, setup, and training. Service enrolled suppliers to grow existing programs.
- Provide support and service to suppliers and beneficiaries of buyer-driven traditional trade programs, such as those for U.S.-based retail and apparel clients.
- Work closely with Sales, Advisory, and Solutions Delivery colleagues - in APAC and other regions - to maximize performance of corporate driven Supplier Finance and Traditional Trade programs.
- Work closely with Product Management and other relevant stakeholders to define, refine, and improve product offering.
- Ensure compliance with all AML, KYC, and Compliance requirements.
- Leverage competitive insight, market knowledge, and personal network to enhance team's results.
- Support RFPs and sales efforts. Advise on structuring of Supply Chain solutions in pre-mandate phase; ensure that proposed solutions are deliverable.
- Provide administrative support, tracking, and reporting as required.
- Document and continuously improve, streamline, and improve team's processes and performance. Employ 'best practices.'
- Leverage technology to improve team's efficiency, accuracy, and capability.
- Implement and maintain robust controls and procedures that meet internal and external audit and reporting and regulatory requirements.
- Build relationships with key internal stakeholders, including Trade Advisory, Trade Solutions Delivery, Product Management, Trade Operations, Trade Sales, Risk, Compliance, Credit and Legal.
- Act as the principal point of coordination for the team and relevant outside stakeholders.
- Coordinate between regions to facilitate a seamless and efficient global model.
- Represent the team and its function to clients, management, and internal stakeholders.
- Establish a robust framework to sustain business resiliency and business growth.
- Remain abreast of changes to the Compliance, Operational, Risk and Finance functions and adjust the team's methodology accordingly.
- Attract, maintain, inspire, and develop talented team members.
Skills
- University graduate or post graduate education.
- Deep understanding of Trade Finance products, services, and processes. Comfort with large corporate clients.
- Sales and/or relationship management experience, especially within the SME sector.
- Experience with supplier enrollment, supply chain finance, and buyer-driven traditional trade programs.
- Understanding of client documentation, documentation process, and compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of or experience with Trade Operations and Trade Product Management preferred.
- Experience in commercial, corporate and/or transactional banking. Credit knowledge.
- Experience working across international markets.
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate and manage change, and to think strategically.
- Ability to analyze and resolve problems quickly.
- Proven ability to build and maintain productive business relationships. Ability to influence key stake holders.
- Strong communication and team-building skills.
