About the department
The department services London’s Import and Export Letters of Credit, Standby Letters of Credit, Guarantees, Inward/Outward Collections and all other functions associated to International Trade Finance.
Responsibilities
The primary areas of responsibility for the role are as follows:
- To facilitate Wells Fargo overseas partners with processing of all trade related products on behalf of London branch.
- Provide technical product support and customer service for Wells Fargo clients and business partners.
- Provide subject matter expertise to Internal and External customers.
- Investigate and resolve all queries and problems regarding all documents and payments.
- Monitoring of inward and outward swift messages.
- Document tracking and mailing associated with Trade Finance Products.
- Provide solutions to operational problems and suggest improvements to workflows.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Must have a sound knowledge of Trade Finance products.
- Must be up to date with ICC Rules and Regulations including UCP600, Incoterms 2010, URDG and International Standard Banking Practice.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office, including Word and Excel.
- Strong Communication Skills, fluent in both German and English.
- Teamwork, organization skills and ability to prioritise.
- Preference for CDCS qualified.
