Trade Services Administrator recruitment

The Trade Services department is responsible for the administration all aspects of the trade finance products offered to the bank’s range of corporate customers in support of its corporate sales teams.

The successful candidate will need to have an sound knowledge of trade finance gained in a banking environment, covering some or all areas of trade finance including Import and Export Collections and Trade Loans. They must be able to work well under pressure and must possess excellent communication skills. This person must be able to adapt as the position evolves and deliver an exceptional level of customer service operationally.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing of import and export Documentary Collections including issuance/presentation, acceptances, payments and refinance.

• Administration of trade related loans including drawdowns, rollovers and repayments.

Key Skills Required

• Detailed knowledge of URC

• Working knowledge of SWIFT 1XX, 2XX, 4XX 7XX series messages.

• Ability to pay close attention to detail

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products

• Good organisation skills

Other Beneficial Skills

• Experience of BankTrade trade finance system

• Good understanding of bank facility documentation and other legal documentation

Facility and transaction management of any structured trade finance arrangements.
