About the Department
ITS solutions include FI Trade Agent and Discounting, FI Insourcing, Supply Chain Finance on both international payables and receivables, Import and Export Letters of Credit, Traditional Trade Finance, Open Account, Doc. Collections, International Standby LC’s (trade related), Risk Mitigation Products, ECA backed Trade Solutions (working Capital, short and medium Term finance).
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for Business Development of Wells Fargo's ITS solutions, within an assigned geographic area or market segment to customers and prospects of the wholesale group engaged in trade in the EMEA region.
Sales Responsibilities
- Target, prioritize and prepare for both Wells Fargo prospect’s and client visits; Identify multi country solutions for trade finance solutions; Direct and/or assist in the management of a client's on-boarding.
- Identify and develop joint calling strategy for top trade prospects.
- Manage existing relationships.
- Conducting and/or participating in business development presentations and customer conferences.
Relationship Management - Growing Managing the Business
- Identify sales opportunities within and outside the bank.
- Meet annual revenue targets and expense guidelines.
- Identify and maintain up to date and active prospect lists.
- Prepare accurate revenue/cost projections.
- Develop and conduct/participate on calling programs with internal customers and prospects.
Professional Development - Product Skills
- For each of the ITS trade solutions, articulate the process flows and applicability.
- Solid understanding of Trade Finance instruments and operational flows.
Team Work - Team Skills
- Partner closely with EMEA Global Banking and EMEA GFI offices.
- Work effectively with other ITS offices.
- Participate and contribute in internal office and group meetings to best represent our ITS Team value proposition to our colleagues within GFI, USCB, Global Banking, Commercial Banking, Asset Based Lending, and the Agriculture Energy vertical.
- Communicate accurately, positively and professionally to all team members.
- Assist other team members when needed - work effectively on any shared account responsibilities.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Demonstrated account relationship management experience, success in business development and marketing.
- Strong, demonstrated success in achieving market growth goals including revenue and PTPP.
- Knowledge of global pricing structures and trade products. Knowledge of wholesale, commercial and specialty lending product and credit practices.
- Knowledge of credit underwriting, structuring, and documenting credit facilities.
- Prior Global Trade Finance Sales experience.
- Client Centric Approach.
- Experience in working with Middle Market and Large Corporate Clients.
- Fluency in additional languages preferred.
Preferred Skills
- MBA (or equivalent) preferred.
- Working knowledge of credit analysis and working capital. efficiency (DPO DSO).
- Basic understanding of Supply Chain Finance, Open Account Trade Settlement, FX, International Cash and Global Financial Institutions.
