Trade Show-CADD Detailer Job Description: CAD Detailer Company Information: Our client specializes in the design and production of displays used for trade shows, exhibits, conferences, etc. Description: Our client is looking for a CAD Detailer/Designer to provide efficient, timely, and accurate detailed drawings for all client property setup and fabrication build. Candidate will be responsible for managing multiple projects and will work closely with project managers and lead designer. Minimum Requirements/Responsibilities: - Minimum 2 years of professional experience using AutoCAD and related detailing software programs (3D Studio Max, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, etc). - Technically competent for a timber, plastics, and metal based production and handling environment, understanding the 3D end product. - Operate to effectiveness/accuracy rate of 90% without re-draw. - Production understanding to translate conceptual drawings into build details producing drawings that communicate construction, production, and installation methods appropriate to current safety and industrial standards - Liaise with other U.S. facility departments including project management, design, production, and warehouse to ensure seamless delivery from creative concept to final production on show floor. - Advise estimated hours to PM and/or Operations Manager for budgeting stages and deliver work tasks within these hours. - Experience designing within the tradeshow/exhibits industry a plus (not required) - Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Education Requirements - Associates Degree or Technical Certification is strongly desired Required Skills for Trade Show-CADD Detailer Job: CAD DESIGN AUTOCAD TRADE SHOW SET-UP DRAWINGS GENERAL ASSEMBLY About Aerotek: Join Aerotek, one of the leading providers of engineering and engineering support professionals in North America.
