Trade Support Business Analyst (Credit Regulatory Project)- Multiple junior positions recruitment

Main Responsibilities:

Provide weekly updates to management and FO to improve STP time stamps

Monitoring internal systems for STP daily time stamps and where improvements can be achieved

Dissemination of exception reporting to respective business lines, escalation to Business Management where necessary

Review and control of static data for counterparty, product scope and desk on eligible items for reporting

Monitor/ review/resolve daily reconciliations of trade populations

Working with CTB (Change the Bank), IT and TMG (Transaction Management Group) on future enhancements or additional reporting requirements

Performing all UAT testing for Front to Back STP Connectivity streams across life cycle of a trade

Perform BA research and compile data across business lines for Regulatory reporting, non-clearing and clearing processes

Coverage of Daily Weekly Dealer to Dealer and Client Clearing process

Education Standard:

Degree or A level standard with relevant experience.

Experience/Background:

Minimum of 2 years Investment banking experience,

Credit Derivatives Middle Office experience preferable

DTCC experience preferable

Documentation (Credit products) beneficial

Personal Characteristics:

A control-focused individual with an excellent attention to detail

A good team player, who is able to work under their own initiative

Good Communication skills essential (Business / Stakeholder face off)

An ability to multitask and prioritize, whilst working to strict deadlines is an essential requirement.

Good trouble shooter

Self motivated

Ability to work to meet daily deadlines, multi-task and very organized

Systems Experience:

Microsoft Office (Excel / Outlook)

Summit (preferable)

TSAR (preferable)

Our client has a strong preference for candidates with a trade support background  but is open  to consider candidates from varied background who possesses strong knowledge of financial instruments and has experience working in financial institutions.
