Due to an internal movement this role is an urgent requirement within Financial markets Market Risk, reporting into Senior Management. This role is part of a very collaborative, high performing respected team.
Key focus will involve:
- Development of risk measuring tools and techniques by financial markets and treasury
- Monitoring of Traded Market risk activities
- Engage with the business to improve risk management capabilities and assisting with the introduction of new products
As the successful candidate you will possess the following:
- Previous experience in a financial markets
- This role will suit an experienced Risk Manager with previous traded market risk experience looking to move to a progressive leading bank or a Senior Market risk analyst ready to step up into a manager role.
- Outstanding communication skills are a must as this is a business facing role
- Non linear risk highly desirable****
- Liquidity risk desirable although not essential.
