Leading Patent and Trademark law firm located in Washington, DC is looking for a strong paralegal with trademark experience to handle all aspects of their prosecution and portfolio management to include both International clients and US. Duties: Electronic filing of applications, maintenance documents and office action responses. Familiarity with oppositions and TTAB proceedings. Able to perform due diligence investigations. Reporting and summarizing of M A?s. Performing domain name registrations and reconciling disputes· Preliminary screening and searches. Experience: Minimum of 5 to 10 years trademark experience in law firm setting. Strong organizational skills. Strong writing skills for extensive correspondence internally with clients, and foreign counsel. Good attention to detail, including ability to assess and respond to underlying issues and implications. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines, but also be a team player to assist where needed. Paralegal Certificate or College degree. Experience on Saegis or Serion or Corsearch or TESS or Trademark.com. Knowledge of how to work with the PTO to achieve goals and resolve issues in a timely fashion.
