It is essential that you have direct trading experience
It is essential that you have knowledge of the derivatives markets
This position is to join a small desk who cover all energy markets; their need is for someone with excellent knowledge and experience within the oil products sector.
Experience within middle distillates (gasoil and diesel) and fuel oil will be greatly favoured for this role.
Some exposure in natural gas is interesting also but to a much lesser extent.
You must be IT proficient with a strong academic background previous or during your career history.
The base salary for this role is in the region of 75K GBP with excellent bonus schemes on top of this.
A background within one of the major energy companies is ideal for this role, or experience having worked at a trading firm or refinery. A purely banking background is of less interest but please do still apply.
