Trader (Australian Futures) recruitment
Tyler Capital is a technology-driven City based proprietary trading group which has achieved highly impressive results year on year. It is at the forefront of financial trading systems development and has at its disposal a team of highly skilled developers, traders, analysts and a management team with a vast amount of experience in this sector.
We have an interesting opportunity for an experienced trader to join the team having the dual roles of advising and assisting in the setting up of a desk to actively trade Australian bill futures, and profitably trading them within Tyler Capitals limits and approaches. Other tasks will include:
• Assisting in determining the structure to connect to, and manage products quoted on the ASX
• Create and propose trading strategies for the 90 day bill future in line with TCLs risk approach and philosophy;
• Successfully implement strategy and maximise profitability going forward;
• Develop new approaches to ASX products to propose to TCL investment committee;
• Assist in the development and implementation of appropriate risk management for all ASX products.
To be considered for this position, you must be able to demonstrate the following:
• Extensive experience in futures trading
• 2 years recent experience trading products on the ASX.
• Profitable track record trading self-derived futures strategies.
• Strong numerical ability.
• Good Excel and spread-sheet skills.
• High level of confidence and ability to work as part of a team.
• Entrepreneurial and innovative outlook capable of developing new ideas within an ambitious and challenging environment
